It all started in 1990, when the founder of Logistick, Inc. was working in the intermodal business and wanted to secure a substantial amount of business from a large furniture manufacturer. The new business would only be received if we would provide steel load locks that were needed to secure all the shipments made by the furniture manufacturer. This requirement amounted to about $750 per shipment. This was particularly costly since it required that we maintain ownership since he had to ship them back and forth for reuse.

The old cliché, necessity is the mother of invention, could not have been more apropos. We thought that there had to be a better way. There was, and we came up with it. The Loadbar® ! The company, Logi-Stick, Inc. was Incorporated in 1992, and later changed to Logistick, Inc.

Soon after, the Strap System was added to secure loads, and then came the Wedge® which uses a 4X4 to secure heavier loads. The International Wedge® was added for use in International marine container shipments soon followed by the Pallet Cleat. This year we added two new inventions: The Super Strap® which is 300 times stronger than the original model, and the Super Wedge® designed for use with the heaviest loads.

Logistick applied for and has received patents on all our products. In response to customer requests, Air Bags and Corrugated Void Fillers have also been added to the product list for use in conjunction with all our other products.

Logistick remains a company focused on innovation to bring you the absolute best in freight securement systems. We will continue to enhance our products and search for innovative new systems that will further benefit you, the customer. After all, meeting your needs with quality products and service remains our number one objective.
