Our friends at the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association passed this along from the Pennsylvania State Police who are seeking information about an unsolved homicide. Pennsylvania State Police Release Video from I-81 Investigation Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania State Police today released a video from the Interstate 81 homicide that occurred on January 4, 2014, in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. State police believe this video may be helpful in identifying potential witnesses. “The video is being released, not so much to focus on the suspect’s vehicle, but more so to identify possible witnesses,” said Lt. Adam Kosheba, Commander, Criminal Investigation Section, Troop H, Harrisburg. We are confident that the suspect vehicle and its driver were observed by several motorists on Interstate 81 between Martinsburg, West Virginia Exit 16 and Interstate 70 in Maryland near Exit 10, added Kosheba. “We believe that several motorists traveling in Pennsylvania along Interstate 81 south in the vicinity of Exit 3 observed the victim’s vehicle in the median and possibly the suspect vehicle in the area at the time the homicide occurred, said Kosheba. “And as you can see in the video, there are numerous vehicles that were driving in that area during the time span of this incident.” State police are asking anyone who may have been in the area during that time and witnessed anything, whether they believe it to be significant or not, to please contact the PA Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $10,000. In addition to the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers reward, the family of Timothy Davison is offering an additional $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for this crime. To learn more about Timothy Davidson and how you can help, please visit the family’s website at www.justiceforasti.com. “Again, we are asking that anyone who may be related to, or knows the person who owns or may be driving the suspected vehicle, and had or has displayed unusual behavior around the time of the incident to also contact our tip line,” said Kosheba. If you see an incident of road rage, have a passenger call 9-1-1 or pull over to a safe location to call 9-1-1 and report the vehicle description, license plate number and your location. Do not engage the other driver, and take steps to create distance between you and the aggressive driver. Contact: Tpr. Rob Hicks, Troop H-Harrisburg, 717-877-2291 or Maria A. Finn or Tpr.
