Manufactured from a high-strength engineered material, the Intermodal Strap XL delivers 50% greater strength and impact resistance compared to the standard Intermodal Strap—making it ideal for medium to heavy-weight loads and challenging freight profiles.
Designed for use in domestic intermodal and smooth-walled shipping containers, the Intermodal Strap XL allows securement at virtually any height, providing flexible load control for regular or irregular-shaped cargo. Its redesigned profile now includes integrated removal tabs, enabling safer, faster, and more controlled removal when used with the Intermodal Strap Removal Tool.
The XL’s structural design creates maximum surface contact with container walls, delivering exceptional holding power under dynamic shipping conditions. When paired with 1.25″ AAR Approved White Composite Banding and AAR BKCB10 buckles, the Intermodal Strap XL provides a complete, industry-approved securement system built for performance and reliability. The Intermodal Strap XL may be reused when left installed on container walls, provided the adhesive tape has not been sheared or compromised and the strap remains undamaged—supporting waste reduction and sustainability initiatives without sacrificing strength.
