Earlier this year we launched our sustainability promise and initiative, SECURE GREEN. We have been preventing freight damage and reducing waste for customers since 1991. We now are enhancing our efforts on minimizing our footprint by becoming more sustainable as an organization from top to bottom. While we have been focused on securing the future of our customers by improving efficiencies through innovation, with the launch of our new sustainability initiative SECURE GREEN we will help secure a sustainable future for all.  

To make sure that promise resonates across the organization, with our partners, and with our customers ─ we have created a SECURE GREEN team to champion and enhance sustainability efforts. The team is focused on efforts like ─ going paperless, material reuse, enhanced recycling, environmental awareness and education, operational efficiency and reducing carbon footprint.

Since day one of our company operations in 1991, we have led efforts to create a more efficient, eco-friendly and sustainable freight securement solution. We have always had sustainability and stewardship in mind when making critical business decisions (example – using post industrial recycled plastic resin) and company operations. It is now time to enhance efforts even more, and focus on innovative solutions to sustainably grow the company, and make a strong and positive impact on the planet. We want future generations to enjoy the planet as much as we enjoy it today!

We recently installed 51.75kw of rooftop solar power at our headquarters. That amount covers roughly 40 percent of our current electrical needs. However, as we are practicing improved energy efficiency and conservation, we estimate the solar to cover more than half of our building energy demand in the near future.
