Logistick, Inc., Innovators of Freight Securement Systems, Launches Recycling Network & Environmental Policy Statement in 3rd Annual Sustainability Report

SOUTH BEND, IN – May 12, 2022 – The Logistick team was busy in 2021 with another record year of freight secured & waste prevention. The more freight that is secured, the more goods are saved from being landfilled & people are protected. Inherently, the Logistick business model is all about sustainability, but the Team knows there is always room for improvement. “2021 provided a fair share of business challenges, including a tidal wave of material & labor cost increases, compounded by significant supply chain constraints, but our SECURE Green Team still stayed on task & effectively led Logistick to deliver on our 2021 Sustainability Goals. Operationalizing sustainability is a challenge for many organizations, but with the commitment & prioritization of Logistick’s owners, our team successfully prioritizes it.” said Dan Sheehan, VP of Sales & Marketing.

Logistick signed the Climate Neutral Now Pledge in 2021, which was created by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, to commit to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by, or before, 2050. Logistick is proud to be accomplishing this goal on a operational level, having already contracted with the Mamoni Valley Preserve (MVP), to offset their carbon (CO₂) footprint. Logistick also became official members of the Hoosier Environmental Council, as well as, Alliance for the Great Lakes, both notable environmentally focused non-profits for Indiana & the Great Lakes region.

Lastly, the Logistick SECURE Green Team started drafting an Environmental Policy Statement, as well as created a strategic recycling network for all customers to more effectively recycle used Logistick products. The Logistick team is happy to announce the official release of both the Environmental Policy Statement & recycling guide & network, in the current Sustainability Report. “These both will help the company advance in terms of reducing environmental footprint & working more cohesively with nature.
