The Intermodal Wedge® is an AAR approved, one-way freight securement system designed to secure light to medium weight loads in domestic intermodal and ISO shipping containers. Engineered to fit on either the peak or in the valley of corrugated container walls, it provides exceptional versatility while utilizing our thickest, strongest white tape for dependable holding power.
Compatible with a standard 4×4 beam, two 2×4s (same length, nailed or screwed together), or a single 2×4, the Intermodal Wedge® adapts to a variety of securement applications. For even greater system strength, it can also be used in conjunction with the Intermodal Brace.
Because the Intermodal Wedge can we installed on either on the peak or valley of a container wall, the optional Wedge Shim helps compensate for container wall variations to maximize outward pressure and securement performance. By filling small gaps between the beam and container wall, it helps the Intermodal Wedge® system achieve optimal holding performance in containers.
